David Hasselhoff kicks off the Gumball Rally in typically understated style?

Pah! Understated - David Hasselhoff doesn?t even know the meaning of the word. Which is why he was flashing his ?Don?t Hassle The Hoff? t-shirt to all and sundry at the launch of the Gumball Rally earlier today.

The BGT judge kicked off the annual race in central London earlier (in the pouring rain) with his Welsh girlfriend Hayley Roberts by his side.

Meanwhile The Hoff has said this week that he basically has the power to heal people. Yes, that?s honestly what he thinks.

Apparently his voice once woke a child up from a coma. He said:

"The upside of being in showbiz is being able to hold the hand of a kid who is dying, you know. I did a tape for a kid saying, 'Hey buddy, it's Michael Knight, Michael Knight, come on, wake up, wake up, wake up'. The phone rang and they said, 'Remember that kid you did the tape for that was hit at that crosswalk in London? Well we played the tape for him and he came out of the coma'."

"I don't want to be corny or anything but that's happened to me a thousand times all around the world because it can affect people in a positive way."

Sure, this doesn?t sound delusional in any way does it?
