Just when you thought the world was saturated with more reality TV competitions than it could possibly handle (seriously, the other day we saw one involving magicians), Simon Cowell has announced he?s about to launch yet another.
This one will involve DJ?s apparently, and he's making it in conjunction with a production company called Overbrook, which is owned by Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
It?ll be a global competition which will involve a ?live international? format.
?DJ?s are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show? said Simon in a press release, adding that he wants to ?capture the rise of the DJ phenomena?.
We hate to break it to Simon but this ?DJ phenomena,? as he calls it, has been going on for quite sometime now so he might be a tad too late.
But we?ve no doubt - as his aggressive PR machine kicks into gear - that it?ll be a roaring success eventually.
