It seems to be the consensus that Katy Perry used her Grammy?s performance last night to take a massive pop at her soon-to-be ex-husband Russell Brand.
In fact it?s hard to think of any other reason why the singer would change the lyrics of one of her tunes to sound so blatantly like a strike at him.
Katy ? who arrived at the ceremony in this blue lace dress but soon changed out of it into something more suitable to perform ? did a medley of her songs ET and Part Of Me at the ceremony, but when it came to singing the latter track ? which happens to be a new one - she altered the words slightly:

Katy ? who arrived at the ceremony in this blue lace dress but soon changed out of it into something more suitable to perform ? did a medley of her songs ET and Part Of Me at the ceremony, but when it came to singing the latter track ? which happens to be a new one - she altered the words slightly:
In one part of the song the original words were: ?You can keep the dog from me, I never liked him anyway.? But last night she sang instead: ?keep your diamond ring, in fact, you can keep everything ? except for me.?
The brand new song also included the words:?You chewed me up and spit me out/Like I was poison in your mouth/You took my light, you drained me down/You ripped me off, your love was cheap.?
Oh dear. So perhaps Katy thought those lyrics rhymed better than the previous ones? Let?s be honest though ? it?s doubtful.
