Packers-Cowboys first-half reflections

Something tells me the tiny spark the Cowboys received with their touchdown by Dez Bryant just before halftime won’t be nearly enough to keep the majority of the TV audience tuned into this game from turning in early tonight.

With the Cowboys sleepwalking through most of the game’s first 30 minutes and the Packers looking sharp on both sides of the ball, Green Bay looks well on its way to an easy victory with a convincing 28-7 lead at halftime.

Aaron Rodgers and Greg Jennings have got it going through the air. RB Brandon Jackson continues to improve every week and Green Bay’s defense just missed going seven straight quarters without giving a point when Bryant scored.

Rookie CB Sam Shields played his tail off, OLB Clay Matthews continued to look like a league defensive MVP in the making, and I loved Cris Collinsworth’s line about Jerry Jones possibly taking a leap from the pressbox.
