Randy Moss: Claimed By Tennessee Titans

The wait is over.

Randy Moss has been claimed by the Tennessee Titans, per ESPN.

Adam Schefter of ESPN has been informed by sources that the enigmatic receiver has been claimed by Tennessee.

The Titans were No. 22 on the waiver priority list to claim Moss.  This means other teams such as St. Louis, Miami, and New Orleans declined to add Moss to their teams.

With up-and-coming receiver Kenny Britt hobbled by a pulled hamstring and expected to miss several games, the Titans were in need of a deep threat on their squad.

Moss, clearly fits the bill for Tennessee.  Don Banks of CNNSI also reported that Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is intrigued with Moss' ability to catch balls in traffic.

The next question in this saga becomes: Will Moss report?

Sources close to Moss have already hinted that he is willing to sit out the rest of the season if he doesn't like the team who claims him.
